Rietveld Berlin

A temporary school organized by the Graphic Design program of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam

For a period of six weeks the third year graphic design students from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam, together with Calla Henkel, Max Pitegoff & Emily Segal are collectively creating, exploring, maintaining, transforming their workspace which functions as a studio within the Atelierhof exhibition space. The space has been "rebranded" as Wendy36, with a final presentation in which all of the students will make an intervention in the studio, open to the public on Friday, October 14th at 7pm.

The logo was designed for the “rebrand” of the Atelierhof Kreuzberg exhibition space: which the students have named Wendy 36.

For the final presentation on October 14th, the students will produce a series of interventions in the exhibition space of Atelierhof Kreuzberg. Much of their research in the past six weeks has followed the ever complicated representation of collective practice and space. For the final presentation, the students will exhibit their individual works in a way that creates a unified frame within the space.
